ROHS Statement
In February 2003, the European Union issued Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHs). The Directive restricts the use of six substances in electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market after 1st July 2006.
The list of restricted substances includes: Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr (VI)), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) as well as Lead (Pb).
The purpose of this statement is to communicate with our suppliers and customers that Inland Empire Components is aware of this Directive. Inland Empire Components is a distributor of electronic components and does not manufacture any of the products we sell.

This may include glossaries as well as links to datasheets and manufacturers’ specifications.
Inland Empire Components is unable to certify content of products sold unless information is provided directly from the manufacturer. We recommend the engineer investigate alloy and chemical content with the original manufacturer of the part. In some cases, due to obsolescence, this information may not be readily available.

It is recommended customers conduct due diligence regarding the impact RoHS will have on their component selection.
